The parachute fabric used in SEAL x FUJIKURA PARACHUTE Collection is made by Fujikura Parachute Co. Ltd. Established in 1939, it's the only manufacturer of man-carrying parachutes in Japan.
The fabric used is as the same grade as parachute cloths used by the Japan Self-Defense Force. Robust fibers are woven in a latticed pattern, so light and thin cloth can withstands significant amounts of tension and pressure. This latticed structure will also prevent the rupture from spreading. Furthermore, the water repellent finishing ensures that the interior stays dry under extreme circumstances.
