The parachute cloth in SEAL x FUJIKURA PARACHUTE is a material made by Fujikura Parachute Co., Ltd.. Established in 1939, it’s the only manufacturer of man-carrying parachutes in Japan.
Both durable and light, the material is of the same grade as parachute cloths used by the Japan Self-Defense Force and is a product of years of experience and research. Robust fibers are woven in a latticed pattern, so the thin cloth can withstand significant amounts of tension. In the unlikely event of ripping, the latticed structure will prevent the rupture from spreading. Furthermore, the water repellent finishing ensures that the interior stays dry under extreme circumstances.
